What can I expect during my first visit?
At your first appointment here in Bledington, we’ll start with a relaxed chat about where you feel pain or tension and what your day-to-day life looks like. I may guide you through a few gentle movements to identify the areas that need the most care. Together, we’ll discuss where you’d like me to focus and the level of pressure that feels best for you.
My goal is for you to feel completely at ease from start to finish. You’ll remain comfortably covered at all times, with only the area being worked on uncovered. This helps you feel warm, safe and deeply relaxed while I ease away tension from your back, neck and shoulders.

How often should I have a massage if I have ongoing back, neck or shoulder pain?
Massge isn’t just a treat - it’s an important part of caring for your body. It eases pain, supports better movement, and helps you manage stress.
Like sleep or exercise, the benefits build over time. The more regularly you include massage in your routine, the better your body will feel. For ongoing back, neck or shoulder pain: start with weekly or fortnightly sessions, then adjust as things improve.
For regular stress or tension relief: every 3-4 weeks helps you stay ahead of tightness and gives your body the reset it rarely gets on its own.
If you’re new to massage: try one session to see how your body responds - even an occasional massage can make a difference.

What should I do after a massage to make the results last longer?
After your massage drink plenty of water and, if you can, take it easy for a while. Light movement - like gentle stretching or a short walk helps your body stay loose and comfortable as everything settles.
Avoid heavy lifting or strenuous exercise straight away. Instead, move slowly, breathe deeply and give yourself time to enjoy that relaxed feeling for as long as possible.
